So cool yet frustrating :(

Aww... this sucks. Not the game, but that you get stuck between the enemies and can't run away. I didn't save so I'll have to restart my 'quest'. I tried every directional button but somehow it didn't have any effect on my hero. Whhhyyyy? >_<

Anyways: Great game. I love games with upgrades. Maybe you should make saving free, as it helps people to replay after shuttimg down the Pc.

Mmm... that shouldn't happen... unless you were completely surrounded... in which case: you should never let the enemies surround you! :)
There is a part of the script dedicated to collision with enemies, and you can't pass through them! But if this happened with quite a reasonable space to pass... PM me and I'll work on it!

Although there's a huge lot of this type games, yours is kinda outstanding, as it comes with a nice variety of levels and neat twists to the original gameplay.

The only problem is, that you challenged us with the 'you can't cheat'. If you say something like that, first make sure that it's true. I'll suggest that you disable mouseclicking after clicking on 'start'. The finish will be reached by touching it, or something. It's an easy change, but it'll eliminate the most commonly known mouse - game cheat. Just preventing the users to tab doesn't solve anything. But hey: Even the tab - cheat works, somehow.

I'm a cheat whore, so I couldn't do anything about it: I HAD to cheat. So please, upload a cheatfixed version, just for me, will ya? :-(

Great concept!

Nice one! You kinda altered the linerider - concept into something different.
But you have still things to improve:

- The POGoboy - graphic sucks, make another one or ask some skilled person to do it.

- Make the gap/hole in the beginning bigger. It's too frustrating to try to get 'in' it.

- Create bigger terrains, maybe with some twists like buttons to push or obstacles to avoid

- Limit the 'draw' - power. This adds a strategic element to the game

- Insert an 'erase' function. I don't want to reset everything just to change one small part

- a 'pause' function 'd be helpful, too, as you could draw on the fly.

- make the music change or at least turn of - able.

Generally:
Work with blurs, shades to improve the graphics. That makes the game look much better. Add specials like above or e.g. stars to collect, a timer, whatever.
Although I'm not sure whether the concept was developed by yourself, I'll give you a 5/5 anyways, because this thing definitely has potential. If your're willing to improve, you'll get attention here.

Solid piece of flash

Wow, at first it looked as crappy as a sandwich in a pizzeria, but then I realized that there was some serious programming. Whatever.

Things to improve:

- Make the enemies harm you. Their shots didn't do anything except for lowering the level - progress - bar by 0.0001 degree.

- Change the rocket layout. It's strange to steer a space - penis.

- Upgrades for the 'ship'?

- Bosses?

- Missions?

The main engine is really great, you could do much more with it, so DO it. oO

Well, what should I say? This 'd be a good homework for informatics course, but it's not enough to be entertaining for newgrounds. I'll give advice what to change in order to create a real game:

More: Create different enemies, powerups, atom - things to pick up.
Don't just have some crappy level X caption, but make a 'Level X completed' screen, maybe with changing music and the score shown.

Graphics: Work with blurs, make some sparks appear when you hit the border and make the chara e.g. flash when it consumes atoms. I think a black background would look better. Also, make a better character - a green blob doesn't look very interesting. Maybe some uber - atom, glowing and sparkling?

The powerups could vary between long lasting (like speed, shield, whatever) and powerups like slow motion or invincibility for a certain period of time.

So, If you want to impress the community, make something bigger. The general concept is okay, but unfortunately not enough to be more than just a good homework.

Very simple but fun.

Well, I knew I could expect something interesting the moment I saw 'jmtb02' as the author. Great to see new things by you.

I like the game, although I needed some time to understand that there's nothing more than timed space - pressing. Funny how you managed to create a cool game with nothing more than one button.

Great idea!
Multiplayer rocks... ^^

Suggestions:

- Power ups
- Ask for a nickname in the very beginning
- The action - timer should be more visible
- Destructable terrain (? - or is it too hard?)
- changing music
- weapons
- possibility to play without wind
- graphic improvement

Overall a cool, addictive game with potential to
start a whole multiplayer - game revolution
on Newgrounds.
